John J. Macliver, President & CEO   

John has over 35 years of experience as a general contractor and developer as well as extensive experience in property and parking management.  He has been responsible for projects which include commercial office and retail uses.  Although primarily based in Rhode Island, his list of projects extends throughout New England as well as New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  While serving as Vice President of Development for Marsella Development Corporation, now MPM, he was responsible for the implementation of design, development and construction of One Citizens Plaza, the restoration of Union Station, the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in West Warwick, Rhode Island as well as the Providence Courtyard by Marriott in Providence.  John is currently the President & CEO and Managing Partner of MPM Property Management, LLC as well as a general partner of Urban Parking Management, LLC and Union Station Plaza Associates, LP.

Since purchasing and taking over the company in January of 2001, John has spearheaded an increase in the annual gross income by approximately 500%.

John is also active in various civic organizations and presently serves on the Downtown Improvement District Executive Board and the Governance Committee at the Providence Ronald McDonald House. He is the past president of the Ronald McDonald House, a past president of BOMA of RI, past secretary of Warwick Country Club, former Honorary chair of Skate For Joy among others.


William J. Cormier, Vice President

Bill brings to the table over 25 years of experience as a general contractor and construction manager. He is currently a partner and Vice President overseeing the construction arm of the firm.  He has been responsible for projects which include commercial office and retail uses.

In 1995, Bill was hired by Marsella Development Corporation, now MPM, to manage all leasehold improvements and oversee the building operations and maintenance for all commercial properties. The company experienced a significant amount of growth over the years leading up to 1995 and needed Bill’s expertise to supplement the work being done by John Macliver.

Over the past several years, Bill has managed in excess of $20 million of construction projects for MPM. These projects range from ground up development projects to tenant improvement projects. 


Janice C. Campbell, CFO

Janice has over 20 years of experience in the field of property management.  She joined MPM in 1997 when it operated under the name of Marsella Property Management.  Prior to joining MPM, she worked for Ryan Elliot for 9 years as the Vice President of Finance.  Her primary responsibilities throughout her career in the property management industry were financially focused.  

Janice is currently the Chief Financial Officer and partner of MPM.  She is presently very active with the Special Olympics and American Heart Association. 


Beverly A. Mangione, Office Manager

Beverly has over 35 years of experience as a professional secretary and office manager.  She began her career with Whittet-Higgins Corporation as the Secretary to the President.  After 4 years with Whittet-Higgins, Beverly started a family and was absent from the working world until 1979.  In 1979 she joined Marsella Development Corporation, now MPM, as an Administrative Assistant. 

In 2001, Beverly was part of a group of employees of Marsella Development who purchased the company, which was renamed MPM.  She has been with MPM since 1979 and is still very active with the day to day operations of the office. Beverly is also a partner of MPM.
